teacher replacing tech

this reflection is based on this amazing post
i think that it is amazing that someone placed a computer in a third world country and the children learned how to use it on their own. that is the perfect example on how us kids really dont need direction from an actual human being. all of us have common sense. i am sure we are all capable of learning online. it may take longer for certain kids to be tech savvy. it will also be hard to understand the teacher who would be teaching rather than in class face-to-face, but at the end of the day it is all doable . all it takes is three important characters; patience, determination, and intelligence.  like myself i think i would rather be in class face to face with a person rather than doing online classes,, because i communicate better that way. everyone is different and everyone has been given their own gifts, strengths, and abilities.

  1. Samantha,

You are exactly right in that on-line learning is not necessarily the best option for all students. It does, however, give students an additional option for learning. It would be great if students had the option to have courses which had both on-line and in person components.
